Sergio Rodrigo, was born in Malaga (Spain) where he obtained the degree of Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Malaga and Master in International Relations specialized in World Rabe Mediterrane oIiberoamirica and the European Union at the International University of Andalusia. Specialized in the Mediterranean, migratory and border processes. Since 2014 he has directed the Andalusian production company EntreFronteras PLAY. Among the documentaries, news coverage and countries where he has worked are the refugee crisis in Libya and Tunez, the conflict in Western Sahara, the refugee crisis in the Mediterranean neo or in Eastern Europe, where cont from Lampedusa or Lesbos the shipwrecks of hundreds of people. He has worked on electoral processes that have passed since the Coup in Turkey, the elections in Greece, Spain, France or Portugal, and such as the Brexit references or Scottish independence. In the Middle East he has worked on the Palestinian conflict or the oil crisis in Qatar. He has told stories of migrants, refugees, asylees, stateless and marginalized, with special attention to human rights.
