Logline
After graduating from university, Ida (25) has to decide if she can accept the job offer of her dreams on an island by the Baltic Sea. That means to leave her mother Ildikó who doesn’t have anybody else, alone. Can the two women find their happiness as long as they don‘t let go of each other?

Antonia Uhl was born in Bonn 1996 and brought up in Düsseldorf. Her interest for movies and performing arts started and developed at the time when she was still at school. She played amateur theater and started low quality filming in 2011. After graduating from high school, she did a social voluntary year in a governmental youth cultural institution. Since 2016, she has taken employments at student film projects in Cologne and Düsseldorf, where she got to meet some of many film making areas. For one year, she studied art history, but she quit for studying film direction at ifs international filmschool in 2017. During her studies, she has completed many short films out of which some were written and produced by her as well. Besides her studies, she is working as assistent director and production manager for TV films and TV shows.
